kirill115 [55]

I do have a family member who always has a bad attitude. For me being around the person is hard because he is my brother and he constantly is loud and screaming and cussing. It makes me feel kind of scared when I am around them but what I could do to help them be more positive is talk to them anyway and help him realize he doesn't need to yell or curse.

Svetach [21]

Answer:

applying knowledge of Greek and Latin roots

Explanation:

Which sentence has modifiers in the right place to make its meaning clear?
Elena L [17]

Answer:

B.

Weighing perhaps 250 pounds, the police bulletin said the suspect was a large man with very large ears.

Explanation:

Modifiers in a sentence is said to be when an adverb or an adjective is used in a phrase, clause or in-order to give more clarity to a given sentence.

This modifier goes a long way to make sure that the meaning behind the sentence is clarified. For example, He went to the 5 star restaurant to have a vegetarian meal. The word, Vegetarian is the modifier to meal.
