The answer should be B, because 16 is basically just 2 meals, which makes 2m and 4 for snacks. so is 2m + 4 = 16

Let

m-------> the cost of one meals in dollars

we know that

2m+4=16 ------> equation A

Solve for m

Subtract 4 both sides

2m+4-4=16-4

2m=12

Divide by 2 both sides

m=12/2=\$6

the cost of each meal is \$6

therefore

the answer is

The equation that could be used to represent this situation is

2m+4=16

Find the distance between (-2, 3) & (-7, -7). Round to the nearest tenth.
andre [41]

Answer:

11.2 units

Step-by-step explanation:

From (-7, -7) to (-2, 3) is 5 units horizontally and 10 units vertically. Thus we have a right triangle with sides 5 and 10 respectively. The length of the hypotenuse of this triangle is the distance between (-2, 3) & (-7, -7):

d = √(5² + 10²) = √(25 + 100) = √125 = √25√5, or 5√5.

This is approximately 11.2 units

Can anyone help?i been going at this for a while and i still cant figure it out, i dont really understand how to even get the an
Feliz [49]

Answer:

A) 44.26

B) 9.43

C) (2.5,3.5)

D) OH

E) 26.26

Step-by-step explanation:

Let’s figure out the lengths first. Three are straight line, so are easy:

HE=9, SE=11, SU=9

The other two, you need to use the distance formula or Pythagorean Theorem. OH=8²+5²=c² = 64+25=c² = 89=c² = √89 = 9.43

OU=3²+5²=c² = 9+25=c² = 34=c² = √34 = 5.83

Now we can start answering the questions.

A) 9+11+9+9.43+5.83=44.26

B) 9.43

C) You already have: (2.5,3.5)

D) OH=9.43. EH=9. OH is longer.

E) HU is 11. OH is 9.43. OU is 5.83. 11+9.43+5.83=26.26

Lilian,max and nazia share a sum of money in the ratio 2:3:5, what fraction of the money does max receive?
taurus [48]
Max receives 3/10 of the money. The money is split into ten parts (2 + 3 + 5 = 10), and Max receives three out of the ten parts. Ratios are usually ordered respectively, so Lilian receives 2/10, and Nazia receives 5/10.
