<span>Basically, a DNA is made up of sequences of nucleotide bases (these are the little strands attaching each side of the DNA that you see in the model). These sequences define what features you get, e.g. hair colour, eye colour, etc. But, these can also mutate, forming a DIFFERENT sequence, this will then lead to a different hair color, eye color, etc.

ur data for diffusion of water across a differentially permeable membrane in response to a sucrose gradient could be graphed wit
musickatia [10]
The slopes show that sucrose gradient affects change in weight.

The slopes will be different because higher gradient concentration of sucrose will result in the higher amount of water moved. This means the higher sucrose gradient concentration, the more change in weight of the water.

N 9 Viruses use the host's machinery to make copies of themselves. However, some human viruses require a type of replication tha
Amanda [17]

Answer:

<u>This is because  the Viron  has in its genome a specialized code  for synthesising any missed enzyme for replication that is lacking in the host cell.</u>

<u>An example is the replication of the human  DNA cells by the Immunodeficiency virus(HIV) </u>. Human  cells only have  enzymes for  copying  DNA templates, and   lacks the enzyme to convert the HIV  RNA genome  to human DNA.However these viruses have  in its genome; code for synthesising its own  RNA polymerase enzymes that copies  or transcribed  the   human DNA to HIV RNA.

<u>This  ability of the viral cell  to code  for the host's enzyme  has a therapeutic effect</u>. Drugs can be targeted at the  viral polymerase enzymes to reduce the replication and therefore toxicity in the host cells.

What is ballistochory?
torisob [31]

Answer:

Ballistochory. So it is called when the seeds are forcefully or explosively spread. The aim is to "throw" the seed from the parent plant as far as possible.

Explanation:

This is what is known by the violent and explosive dispersal of the seeds. The aim is to "throw" the seed from the parent plant as far as possible. (This works because the wind resistance is not high for seeds.)
