Answer: The congenital insensitivity affects reflex arc receptors.

Explanation:

Congenital insensitivity to pain is a congenital disease caused by mutations of various genes that affect nociceptors throughout the body, which transmit information about pain. It mainly correlates with the SCN9A gene, which encodes information to form the sodium channel NaV1. .7., Whose function in neurons is to transmit electrical signals.

The reflex arc is a neutrophysiological mechanism to respond to a stimulus, they can be simple or compound, simple if it only consists of a neuron that encompasses the entire process or compound, as in most, thus, the latter consists of:

1. Receivers

2. Sensory or afferent neurons

3. Motor or emerging neurons

4. Effector organs.

There are 4 types of reflexes, the innate, conditioned, myotactic reflex and the spinal automatism reflex.

With this information we can deduce that the congenital insensitivity to pain involves the nociceptors, which are the receptors of the myotactic reflex, compound reflex, damaged by the disease, avoiding the withdrawal of the part of the body affected when a painful stimulus occurs, causing multiple characteristic lesions of this pathology.

ANEK [815]

Most health experts recommend eating tuna a few times a week and eating shark few times a month because: eating these fish could result in the buildup of pollutants in fat tissue of humans.

Why health experts recommend tuna and shark to be consumed less?

Large fish like sharks and tuna feed on smaller fish and can accumulate high levels of environmental pollutants like mercury and the risk also increases as off-shore pollution increases.

Shark meat is recommended only a few times a month because sharks are apex predators who accumulate high levels of toxic chemicals and heavy metals from both skin absorption and from consuming prey. This is called bioaccumulation.
