During the assessment of cognitive impairment, post-stroke, the nurse documents that the patient was experiencing memory loss and impaired learning capacity. The nurse knows that brain damage has most likely occurred in the Frontal lobe.

Further Explanation

One of the major components in the brain is the frontal lobe. It is located close to the forehead and regulates major cognitive skills in individuals. Some of the cognitive skills it controls include speaking, planning, problem-solving, memory, and judgment.

Some important functional areas within the frontal lobe include

 • The medial areas
 • The orbital areas
 • The lateral areas
 • The primary motor cortex

Each of the areas performs different functions, for instance, the medial area is responsible for awareness and motivation

The frontal lobe controls individual ability to plan, speak and move. It is part of the brain that allows humans to concentrate and write.

The frontal lobe performs numerous functions; it controls the individual's ability to move their body muscles. It is the largest part of the brain and it is also the place where brain injury usually takes place.

If there is any damage to the frontal lobe, it will affect an individual’s personality. Damage to the frontal lobe can affect a person’s ability to speak and solve problems.

Answer:

Temporal lobe.

Explanation:

Communicate effectively, read and write, gain knowledge, know what a book or elevator is for, remember your friends, and other processes related to memory and learning. All of these and many other processes are regulated by a very specific area: the temporal lobe.

In short, the temporal lobe is the part of the brain responsible for memory and learning. Anyone who has difficulty with these two processes has a compromised temporal lobe. So impressive as it sounds, the temporal lobe is the area of our brain that most favors our changes, because thanks to it we learn, remember, motivate, process information, establish emotional bonds so that we can better adapt to our environment.

Why would you say that living things reproduce if some individual living things may not reproduce?
Tatiana [17]
If some living things do not reproduce this could be considered a defect or a genetic mutation in those people. If we take humans for example, if most humans reproduce and some don't because they cannot (if a guy cannot produce sperm) this doesn't mean that he isn't alive, it just means he was born with a genetic mutation which doesn't allow him to produce sperm needed for reproducing.

How do stereotypes about race and gender impact people’s opportunities in the workforce?
Tems11 [23]

The assumptions that certain races are lazy or dirty or uneducated makes employers reulcutant to hire them. Mostly same with women. Assumptions on strengh, willingness to work, and place in society makes employers biased and more likely to hire white men.
