First we are going to find the area of the base, and then, we are going to multiply it by the height of the prism.
To find the area of the base, we are going to use the formula for the area of triangle: A= \frac{bh}{2}
where
b is the base of the triangle
h is the height of the triangle

We know form our problem that b=4 and h=3.5, so lets replace those values in our formula:
A= \frac{bh}{2}
A= \frac{(4)(3.5)}{2}
A=7m^2

Now we just need to multiply that area by the height of our prism:
V=(7)(11)
V=77m^3

We can conclude that the volume of our prism is 77m^3; therefore the correct answer is the third option: <span>77 m3</span>

What is sec 0 when tan 0 = V3? Đ. (1, 0) sec 0 = [?]
adoni [48]

Answer:

secθ = - 2

Step-by-step explanation:

Using the identity

sec²θ = 1 + tan²θ

          = 1 + (\sqrt{3} )² = 1 + 3 = 4 ( take the square root of both sides )

secθ = ± \sqrt{4} = ± 2

Since secθ < 0 in the third quadrant , then

secθ = - 2

During a week in January in Cleveland, Ohio, the daily high temperatures were -4 °F, -2 °F, -12 °F, 5 °F, 12 °F, 16 °F, and 20 °
KIM [24]

Answer:

\Delta T = T_{max,w} - T_{min,w}

\Delta T = 20\,^{\circ}F - (-12\,^{\circ}F)

\Delta T = 32\,^{\circ}F

Step-by-step explanation:

The expression needed is the highest temperature of the week subtracted by the lowest temperature of the week. That is to say:

\Delta T = T_{max,w} - T_{min,w}

\Delta T = 20\,^{\circ}F - (-12\,^{\circ}F)

\Delta T = 32\,^{\circ}F
