Answer:

Kindly check attached picture

Quantity measured is DISTANCE

Explanation:

Segment AB = measures uniform deceleration

BC = Constant speed moved by the car

CD = Uniform acceleration

During uniform deceleration: the speed of the body is reduced at a constant rate with time.

During Constant Speed, the car maintains a Velocity which does not increase or reduce at a certain time interval.

During uniform acceleration the speed of the car increases at a constant rate with time.

B) THE quantity measured by the area covered under a speed-time graph is distance :

With speed on the vertical (y-axis) and time on the horizontal (x-axis)

Area of trapezium = 0.5(AD + BC) × height

What is the main difference between a taproot and a fibrous root?
anastassius [24]
Fibrous roots grow from the main stem of the plant and does not have a primary root like the taproot. They grow downward and outward, with repeating branches to form a mass of small roots.Dicots and monocots are the two classes of flowering plants. The majority of taproot systems are composed of dicots and conifers.

pyroclastic flow is a fast moving current of hot gas and volcanic matter that flows along the ground away from a volcano at high velocities.

Hotspot is volcanic regions thought to be fed by underlying mantle that is anomalously hot compared with the surrounding mantle

caldera-a large volcanic crater, especially one formed by a major eruption leading to the collapse of the mouth of the volcano.

tephra-rock fragments and particles ejected by a volcanic eruption

epicenter-the central point of something, typically a difficult or unpleasant situation

fault-an extended break in a body of rock, marked by the relative displacement and discontinuity of strata on either side of a particular surface

surface waves- mechanical wave that propagates along the interface between differing media

body waves-A body wave is a seismic wave that moves through the interior of the earth, as opposed to surface waves that travel near the earth's surface. P and S waves are body waves.

The earth is sometimes described as a giant magnet. True or false?
dybincka [34]
True. The crust of the Earth has some permanent magnetization, and the Earth's core generates its own magnetic field, sustaining the main part of the field we measure at the surface. So we could say that the Earth is, therefore, a "magnet."
