This is more math than it is English but let's see. She drove 164 miles in the morning and 219 miles in the afternoon.
219+164=383
So from what is given it can be estimated that Mr Kirk drove about 383 miles that day.

The other answer is correct but it hasn't been estimated. So, 164 estimated is 160, 219 estimated is 220. So add 160 and 220 and you should get 380.
