Answer:

Dust bowl resulted from extreme drying and loosening of the soil that resulted in soil erosion by wind. Thus, it can be related that poor agricultural practices like over plowing , over grazing and leaving the land barren are human activities that must have contributed to the dust bowl.

Explanation:

  • Dust bowl is referred to a period in early twentieth century when the the American and Canadian prairies faced severe dust storms.
  • These dust storms resulted from severe drought and failure of practices to prevent soil erosion.
  • Several people and livestock died as a result of choking.
  • Over plowing, removal of top soil and  small grasses exposed the soil to eroding winds and caused the dust storms.

What does this animation mean when it says that ATP is like a rechargeable battery?
Solnce55 [7]

I dont know what animation you mean about but i will give my opinion.

ATP are used for energy, they are made inside mitochondria. Mitochondria use oxygen and food to make ATP, which is maybe what u mean by rechargable is because whenever you eat, the mitochondria will produce energy again and again.

Denzel's mom has asked him to organize the family's trash for disposal. Which of these items should he put with the hazardous wa
hjlf
The answer would be used batteries. You would be able to recycle the vegetable waste within fertilizing and/or throw it away safely by disposing it in a trashcan since it is not a hazard towards the environment. As for aluminum cans, they are recyclable and are easy to use again once it is filtered through the system. However, batteries are NOT recyclable nor easy to dispose because they can release Alkaline which can harm the environment.

Pani-rosa [81]

Answer:

The answer is A) Homologous structures

Explanation:

Homologous Structures:

  • Homologous structures are anatomical features in an organism that are structurally and functionally diverse but they originate from a single common ancestor.
  • Homologous structures possess a similar basic internal structure but can have entirely different morphology and function.
  • For example, the wings of a bat and a human's arm have the same internal structure but they have different functions.
  • Vestigial structures are evolutionary remnants that no longer serve a purpose in modern forms or descendants of the original organism.
  • Inherited and developmental are out of context in terms of evolutionary relationships.
