Answer:

y + 1 = 5(x - 10)

Step-by-step explanation:

the equation of a line in point- slope form is

y - b = m(x - a)

where m is the slope and (a, b) a point on the line

the equation of a line in slope- intercept form is

y = mx + c ( m is the slope and c the t-intercept )

rearrange x + 5y = 5 into this form ( subtract x from both sides )

5y = - x + 5 ( divide all terms by 5 )

y = - \frac{1}{5} x + 1 ← in slope- intercept form

with slope m = - \frac{1}{5}

given a line with slope m then the slope of a line perpendicular to it is

m_{perpendicular} = - \frac{1}{m} = - \frac{1}{-1/5} = 5

using m = 5 and (a, b) = (10, - 1), then

y + 1 = 5(x - 10) ← in point- slope form

Nonamiya [84]

Answer:

4.9%

Step-by-step explanation:

6600 * 107/100 = 66*107 = 7062.

3500 * 101/100 = 35x101 = 3535

7062+3535=10597. Original worth: 10100

10597-10100 = 497

497/10100 = 0.0492079208, or 4.92%, rounds to 4.9%

ANEK [815]

The formule is about area of a circle.

\pi x^{2} = a

We need to solve the equation for x. Where x is the radius of the circle.

In order to solve it for x, we need isolate it for x on left side.

So, first we need to get rid pi from left side.

On dividing both sides by pi, we get

\frac{\pi x^2}\pi}=\frac{a}{\pi}

x^2=\frac{a}{\pi}

Taking square root on both sides, we get

\sqrt{x^2}=\sqrt{\frac{a}{\pi}}

x=\sqrt{\frac{a}{\pi}}

The slope of a line is 0 and it contains the point (3,1)
Sedaia [141]

Answer:

<h2>y = 1</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

The point-slope form of an equation of a line:

y-y_1=m(x-x_1)

<em>m</em><em> - slope</em>

<em>(x₁, y₁)</em><em> - point on a line</em>

We have <em>m = 0, (3, 1) → x₁ = 3, y₁ = 1</em>.

Substitute:

y-1=0(x-3)

y-1=0      <em>add 1 to both sides</em>

y=1

Other method.

If the slope is equal 0, then it's a horizontal line.

The equation of a horizontal line: <em>y = a</em>.

We have the point on a line (3, 1) → x = 3, y = 1.

Therefore the equation is <em>y = 1</em>.
