How did Roman language influence the English language?
devlian [24]

Influence of English language by Roman Language:

Latin influenced the English language both directly and indirectly but the major lasting influence is indirect. The biggest indirect influence occurred after the Normans invaded England. Normans spoke French a descended from Latin which was deemed a romance language. In addition, the old English borrowed some terms from Latin and that is the direct influence.

Another notable influence is in science and academia; most terms are in Latin language and they remained unchanged until today. Also during the Norman and Roman invasion, Latin was the language used by the Roman Catholic Church; the only Christian Church at that time.

Our political thoughts and Our behavior.

Explanation:

The Constitution impacts our political thoughts because for example and this isn't the only reason why. The 2nd amendment.

A lot of Conservative candidates fight against the ideas of gun control and the banning of certain firearms in the U.S. While a lot of Liberal candidates argue that there should be strict regulations on weapons and support the banning of certain firearms.

Our behavior, the 1st amendment gives everyone the freedom of religion, freedom of speech, censorship of the media, and peaceful assembly.

For example: Freedom of religion gives us the ability to follow any faith we want, Muslims have to pray 5 times a day, if someone of the Muslim faith in the U.S is at work and they need to worship, they have every right to do so.

Christians sometimes pray before every meal, they have the right to do it without being punished.
