It makes sense; but there are two phrases there that could be divided to make the sentence flow better.

2. After hibernating, the bear cubs emerging from their dens, playing with a stick, and looking for food.
3. The gardeners and I watering the daisies, tending to the roses, and trimming the trees.
4. The student brilliantly, cleverly, and believing when delivering his speech.
5. There are making thins I need to do today, like going the store, going to the gas station, and getting a haircut.
BTW i tried my best although i have never done anything like this so some may possibly be incorrect though some may right.

The Scarlet Ibis, the older brother loves his younger brother. He teaches him to walk, to play, etc. Then, one day the older a younger brother walk to a tree and the older brother gets angry and runs away. The younger brother is ill and can't run. When the younger brother attempts to run after his older brother, he runs out of air and dies. The older brother feels horrible and the younger brother dying reminded the older brother of the scarlet ibis that had died earlier in the story. Both were helpless.
