Boston Harbor is a natural harbor which is located adjacent to the city of Boston, Massachusetts. The port of Boston, one of the most important shipping facilities of their country, is located there.

The north battery is delimited by the locations known as the recreational area of "Deer Island"  and Winthrop Peninsula. The south battery is delimited by Nantasket Beach and Point Allerton. The harbor has an extension of approximately 180 miles from North to South, as well as containing 34 harbor islands.
