2a plus 3b =12

5a minus 1b =13  multiply this by -3 to match 3b in equation 1

2a plus 3b =12

-15 plus 3b =-36

plus 15           plus 15

3b= -21

divide by 3  on both sides

b= -7

400x1=400
40x10=400

Just if the two numbers multiple to 400 it can be an answer

Find the circumference of a circle with a diameter of 15 inches... Round to the nearest tenth and include units in your answer..
rosijanka [135]

Answer:

<em>47. 1 inches ; where inches ⇒ units</em>

Step-by-step explanation:

Consider the Circumference as such;

Diameter - 15 inches,\\Circumference - 2\pi r, r - radius,\\\\2\pi r = \pi d, d - diameter ( considering, 2 * r = diameter )\\\\Circumference = \pi * d = \pi * diameter = \pi * 15 = ( About ) 47.1 inches\\Solution; Circumference = ( About ) 47.1 inches

<em>From this we can tell that ⇒ Answer; 47. 1 inches, where inches - units</em>

What set of three numbers could represent the lengths of the side of a right triangle?
klemol [59]

Answer:

C.) 5, 12, 13

Step-by-step explanation:

In a right triangle, the sum of the squares of the two shorter sides must equal the square of the longest side (Pythagoras).

a² + b² = c²

We can test each set of numbers to see which one fits.

A.) 8² +  12² =   16²

    64 + 144 = 256

           208 ≠ 256

B.) 6² +  7² =  8²

   36 + 49 = 64

           85 ≠ 64

C.) 5² +  12² =   13²

    25 + 144 = 169

            169 = 169

The numbers 5, 12, and 13 could represent the lengths of the sides of a right triangle.

D.) 16² +    32² =    36²

   256 + 1024 = 1296

              1280 ≠ 1296

Solve (9^62773 + 2)^83721
shutvik [7]
Remember the order of operations and do what is in parenthses first.

Take 9 to its power first, then add 2. Once you get that, take that answer to the 83721 power.

I would give you the answer, but my calculator is saying invalid input every time I am trying to use such high exponents. Sorry :( But I hope that this helps
