Ok so there's no picture of the poster but generally the bias would be only showing one sides fault. For the Lusitania, the Germans were attacking with their u-boats because they were in the war zone but that side is not depicted very often.

Why is the Vietnam War an example of a proxy war?
julsineya [31]

Answer:

The correct answer is B) China and the Soviet Union supported North Vietnam, while the United States backed South Vietnam, even though the US wasn't directly at war with China or the United States.

That is why the Vietnam War is an example of a proxy war.

When an armed conflict was instigated by two countries that do not directly fight each other, we have a proxy war. Those two major countries use third countries to fight against each other. That was the case of the Vietnam War. During the Cold War years, the Soviet Union wanted to spread Communism in many nations, such as Vietnam. That is why the USSR supported North Vietnam. On the opposite side, the United States wanted to stop the spread of Communism, and that is why it supported South Vietnam.

Who were the suffragists and what was their impact on american society from 1848 to 1918?
zhenek [66]
The suffragists were people, predominantly female, who fought for introducing voting rights in the United States for women. They began fighting after the civil war when African Americans were given rights, making women the only ones left without it, and it lasted until 1918 because that's when their fight climaxed as they were given voting rights with the 19th amendment.

Many industries (more than 7) started to boom during America's
Zepler [3.9K]

Answer: Three industries that boomed during the industrial revolution, were the steel industry, the textile industry, and the railroad.

During the Industrial revolution, the United States of America looked to Europe's advancements in technology, borrowed many of their ideas, and tinkered with them to improve them and make them suitable for the various terrains of America.

The steel industry led the American economy, and made it the biggest in the world. The steel industry also led to technological advancements such as railroads, machines and factories.

The textile industry changed/improved how goods were produced and boosted raw material imports. The textile industry also produced cotton, wool, and other types of fabrics. They also brought jobs to the areas where they were built which significantly helped the economy and society to grow.

The railroad is one of the most important advancements in the industrial revolution, it caused the American economy to boom (even more) and facilitated international trade. The railroad also transported western food, crops, and raw materials to East Coast markets, and manufactured goods from East Coast cities to the West Coast.
