How do you care for dentures?

I'm not sure but....I think that you're supposed to wear them when you eat or any other time but you take them off when you sleep. Most people I think wash their dentures...not sure though since I don't wear dentures. But I think they either wash it or put it in a glass of water so it can stay clean. But you don't brush it. Remove and rinse dentures after eating.
Handle your dentures carefully.
Clean your mouth after removing your dentures. 
Brush your dentures at least daily.
Soak dentures overnight.
Rinse dentures before putting them back in your mouth, especially if using a denture-soaking solution.
Schedule regular dental checkups.
See your dentist if you have a loose fit. 

Thing that you should be avoiding
Abrasive cleaning materials.
Whitening toothpastes.
Bleach-containing products
Hot water.
