Bacteria and archaebacteria includes single celled organisms in which membrane bound cell organelles such as mitochondria, chloroplast are absent. membrane bound nucleus is also absent. They have incipient nucleus.

Answer 18. Viruses.

Viruses are not included in Domain as they are not cellular organisms. viruses are connecting link between living and non-livings.

Answer 21. Mouth, Esophagus, Stomach, Small intestine, Large intestine.

How are proteins and nucleic acids related?
ehidna [41]

Answer:

Nucleic Acids are precursor for Proteins.

Explanation:

Proteins are formed( protein units called amino acids) by the decoding of specific nucleic acids to give specific Proteins.

No nucleic acids don't provide energy, these are building block of genetic material (DNA). While Proteins provide energy.

No proteins don't carry genetic information.

Yes structure of protein is determined by nucleic acids because each nucleic acids code fir specific unit of amino acid which join to form protein.

No subunits of nucleic acids are nucleotides where as subunits of Proteins are called amino acids.

Please mark it branliest if the answer is little bit satisfying.

A very common type of red–green colorblindness in humans is caused by a mutation in a gene located on the X chromosome. Knowing
Harrizon [31]

Answer:

50%

Explanation:

According to the given information, the allele for the red-green colorblindness is inherited in an X linked recessive manner. Let's assume that the allele X^c is responsible for red-green colorblindness. The woman is normal but had a colorblind father (X^cY). Fathers give their X chromosomes to the daughters while their Y chromosome is transmitted to their sons. The sons get their X chromosomes from the mother.

The colorblind father has transmitted the X-linked allele for the red-green colorblindness to his daughter. Therefore, the genotype of the woman is X^cX. The woman would produce two types of eggs: 50 % with X^C and 50% with X. Therefore, 50% of sons of this woman would get X linked allele for the red-green colorblindness and would be affected by the disorder while the rest 50% of her sons will be normal.

What is one way scientists know that Maiacetus lived in the ocean?
IgorC [24]

Answer The species is known from three individuals, all of which were found in the Habib Rahi Rock Formation of Pakistan

Maiacetus is significant because of how well the skeletons were preserved. Over 90% of the bones from the male were found intact, which is almost unheard of for a specimen this old!

Their skeletons have all been found among fossils of sea-creatures which suggests they lived in the sea.

The fore-snout is starting to elongate. An elongated fore-snout is found in all modern whales and all transitional whales after Maiacetus.
