Men are often viewed as more powerful than women and more “capable,” that is why a talkative man is viewed differently than a talkative woman. Hearing a man talking is often associated with them being educated and hearing a women talking a lot is often associated with them being annoying and pushy like stated above. The reason for this is because men are a lot of times in higher positions in society than women.

Yes, I think if there were a large percentage of female managers at the top of levels of society, the average views of society would change and talkative women would be associated with knowledgeable and powerful.
