Constitution is a set of laws and principles that govern a country or an organization​.

Explanation:

Most modern countries have a written constitution in place which is the code for the way the country is run and it contains a set of laws and principles that govern the said country or an organization​.

This is usually subject to change according to the passage of time in the place where the constitution is in effect but it exists to give a basic guideline and outline of the principles that govern the said country.

It also makes sure and safeguards the people against the fluctuation in laws.
