Given f(x) = √x and g(x) = x+2 find the domain of f(g(x)).
REY [17]

Answer:

E) None of the above

Step-by-step explanation:

Given f(x)=\sqrt{x} and g(x)=x+2, then f(g(x))=\sqrt{x+2}. This shifts the graph of the parent function f(x)=\sqrt{x} 2 units to the left. Thus, the domain of the function is [-2,\infty), making none of the above true.

Justify conclusion on why 2 ounces of ketchup is ok to use when eating potatoe wedges
ikadub [295]
Well you haven't really given us a question that requires a "quantifiable" answer. 2 ounces is roughly equivalent to 60 grams. 2 ounces of ketchup wouldn't be an awful lot of ketchup. I'm sure that you'd remain healthy despite eating 2 ounces of ketchup along with your potato wedges.

According to the American Heart Association, women should only have about 25 grams of sugar per day. In 100g of ketchup there would be about 22g grams of sugar. If you were to eat roughly 60g of ketchup, you'd only be digesting about 13.2 grams of sugar. Now, potato wedges could also contain sugar, but you haven't stated how many grams or kilograms of potato wedges you'd be eating, so I wouldn't be able to tell you whether your meal contains too much sugar.

Please help!! Needed ASAP!!
yarga [219]

Answer and Explanation:

If, on the other hand, the graph "flexes" or "flattens out" to some degree when it goes to cross the axis, then the zero is of a higher multiplicity; that is, it'll be of multiplicity three, five, or higher.

When a graph doesn't start at 0, it means that the graphs before it is not shown.

For number 4, I'd suggest Graph 3.

For number 3, I'd suggest graph 1.

For number 5, Write something along the lines of "Graph 2 does not show the car stopping slowly, it stops suddenly. Then it starts going really fast and stops suddenly again."

I hoped this helped.
