$f(x)=2x-3\\ y=2x-3\\ 2x=y+3\\ x=\frac{y+3}{2}\\ f^{-1}(x)=\frac{x+3}{2}\\ f(f^{-1}(x))=2\cdot\frac{x+3}{2}-3\\ f(f^{-1}(x))=x+3-3\\ f(f^{-1}(x))=x$
