The system of checks and balances is a part of our Constitution. It is used to keep the government from getting too powerful in one branch and hence guarantees that no part of the government becomes too powerful. Each branch <span>has some measure of influence over the other branches and may choose to block procedures of the other branches.</span> For example, the Executive Branch can veto bills from the Legislative Branch, but the Legislative Branch can override the veto.

The term efficiency is often used in conjunction with absolute advantage and is defined as making the best use of resources. It is the measure of how efficient a process is. It is used to assess the ability of a process in avoiding waste energy, materials, money and time in doing a desirable output. It is calculated as Efficiency = useful energy ouput / total energy input x 100.<span />
A slave is in fact no better than an animal. They are treated like dogs and worked until they pass out. Slavery is not okay and treating people this way is a horrible crime against humanity. Nobody deserves to be treated like an animal. Slaves often sleep in sheds or barns just like farm animals.
