The correct answer to this open question is the following.

During this period of 1816 to 1840 in the history of The United States, the concept of democracy gradually turned from a nation that did not consider the opinion of the citizens at all, to the nation that had to "open its doors" to democratic participation for white male Americans that could have the opportunity to vote and elect representants. The old system in the early 1800s was based on the concept of property ownership and had to change to the increase in the number of political parties that participated in the US political arena.

Through which countries does the indus river flow?
eimsori [14]
It begins in the high mountains of Tibet (southwestern China), flowing northwest through the Jammu & Kashmir region of India and Pakistan, then generally south through Pakistan, ending in the Arabian Sea. The Indus, through a series of dams and canals, provides much of the irrigation and power for central Pakistan.

I hope this helps! :)
