People decided to live on the coast of Japan because they thought that it was a safe and nice place to live. It was impossible to be reached by land, hence whenever enemies would come by sea the Japanese would then be able to spot them coming. Furthermore, since they lived near the ocean food was quite accessible as well.

Hope this answers the question

Which was a major result of the Great Depression of 1929?
lora16 [44]

Answer:

The major result of the Great depression was economic crisis.

Explanation:

The Great Depression of 1929 was a time the stock market collapsed in the United States, and this was immediately preceding World War I. It led to a huge decline in the country's economy. The Great Depression did not only affect the country's economy but also politics as capitalism declined.

As a result of the Great Depression, unemployment increased, the banks in the states could not lend out money, and neither could they get profit in return, people could no longer afford to pay for housing which rendered many homeless, etc. However, efforts were made under the administration of  Herbert Hoover, which failed.

With the era of Franklin D. Roosevelt, a program was created named the "New Deal" which helped cure the economic crisis.

The Constitution was thoroughly planned by several government officers and agencies over a period of almost seven years amid increasing democratic reforms in Bhutan. The current Constitution is based on Buddhist philosophy, international Conventions on Human Rights, comparative analysis of 20 other modern constitutions, public opinion, and existing laws, authorities, and precedents.[1] According to Princess Sonam Wangchuck, the constitutional committee was particularly influenced by the Constitution of South Africa because of its strong protection of human rights.[2]
