Given a possible triangle abc with a=16, b=25 a=22 find a possible value for b round to the nearest tenth.
Stells [14]
We can use the Sine Law:
a / sin A = b / sin B
16 / sin 22° = 25 / sin B
16 / 0.3746 = 25 / sin B
sin B = 25 · 0.3746 / 16
sin B = 0.5853
∠B = sin^(-1) 0.5853
∠B = 35.83° ≈ 35.8°
Answer: b. 35.8°

The length of a rectangle is 5 ft more than twice the width, and the area of the rectangle is 63ft. Find the dimensions of the r
Sati [7]
I don’t think that’s possible. Unless the answer they’re looking for is in the decimals, 63 is only divisible by 1, 3, 7, 9, 21, and 63. Seeing as the formula for the area of a rectangle is a= lw, having something like that problem wouldn’t be possible. I’m most likely wrong, but I’m not completely sure. Please feel free to correct me!!
