13.2 first look at the 2 if is lower then the number five so u round down to 0 the decimal stays there so it's no 13.0 now u do the same to the 13 only u round up since its higher so u round it up to 20 and ur answer should be 20.0

When rounding off decimals to the nearest whole number you look for the number to the  right of the decimal point  if it is below 5 take the number that you have before the decimal eg. 13.21543 rounded to the nearest whole number would be 13 if it was 13.91234 the whole number would be   14 because 9 is higher than 5 use 5 as a gauge of what is high and what is low

Since y equals the product of the factors, any value for x which makes any factor equal to zero is a point where the graph touches the x-axis.

inysia [295]

Answer:

<u>B. There is sufficient evidence that the mean of the pressure required to open a certain valve has changed. </u>

Step-by-step explanation:

We make this conclusion based on these reasons:

  1. We are told that the "null hypothesis was rejected" after the <em>"manager feels that the pressure variability has changed.,</em> meaning the <u>null hypothesis was the opposite of what occurred; that is to say, it is the alternate hypothesis that proved true instead.</u>
  2. <em>"changes in the manufacturing process"</em> form what can be called "sufficient evidence" that the mean of the pressure required to open the valve has changed, thereby going against the null hypothesis.

It is based on the above reasons that the null hypothesis was rejected.

A right triangular prism has a height of 26 cm and base edges of 10 cm, 24 cm, and 26 cm. What is the lateral area of the prism?
horrorfan [7]
The lateral area is 1560 cm².

The lateral area is the area of the lateral faces (the faces that are not bases).  The dimensions of these are:
24 by 26
10 by 26
26 by 26

These are all rectangles.  The area of each rectangle is given by length * width:
24*26 = 624
10*26 = 260
26*26 =676

624+260+676=1560
