1) Divide:  10/60.  Alternatively, divide:  1/6.  Result will be a repeating decimal fraction.
2) Multiply your result by "100%."
3) Round off your answer.  67%, or 66.7%, would be a far more reasonable answer than would be 66.6666% or something like that.

You take 10/60 and multiply it by 100
10/60=0.1667
0.1667*100= 16.67%

ABC is isosceles with AB=AC=8 units and BC=6 units. D and E are midpoints of AB and BC respectively. Calculate the length of DE?
Allushta [10]
The triangle is drawn and is shown in the image attached with.

We get two similar triangles. Triangle ABC and Triangle ADE. Since the triangles are similar the ratio of their corresponding sides will be the same.

D and E are the midpoints of AB and BC, therefore, AD and AE are both 4 units in length. Using the property of similar triangles, we can say:

AD : DE= AB : BC
AD = 4 units
AB = 8 units
BC = 6 units
DE = unknown = x units

So,

4 :x = 8 : 6 \\  \\
 \frac{4}{x} = \frac{8}{6}  \\  \\
x=4* \frac{6}{8}=3

Therefore, the length of DE will be 3 units

UkoKoshka [18]

Answer:

129°

Step-by-step explanation:

Sum of supplementary angles = 180°

Jennifer is putting together a selection of flowers that has at most 12 flowers in it. She is choosing either roses or carnation
ohaa [14]

Answer:

r + c ≤12

r > 3

c > 2

Step-by-step explanation:

Jennifer is putting together a selection of flowers that has at most 12 flowers in it.

r = number of roses she uses

c = the number of carnations

At also means Less than or equal to.

It is represented by ≤

She is choosing either roses or carnations. She wants to pick at least three roses

r > 3

and at least two carnations.

= c > 2

Therefore, the system of inequality that represents this scenario is written as:

r + c ≤ 12

r > 3

c > 2
