In the cell respiration phase plants absorb the oxygen from the air and use it in burning the sugar made up of photosynthesis as energy with carbon dioxide and water.

Explanation:

The energy in food is converted into energy that are used by the body's cells. The process by which green plants and other organisms transform light energy into chemical energy. In the process of photosynthesis in green plants, light energy is obtained and used to convert water, carbon dioxide, and minerals into oxygen and energy organic compounds.

The cells in the body combine glucose and oxygen to make ATP and carbon dioxide. Oxygen combines with the electrons and two hydrogen ions to make water.

The process of converting light energy into chemical energy in the form of glucose in small structures called chloroplasts.
