All you need to do is find the probability of getting 0 spades for 5 cards in a row, subtract from 1, and multiply by 2,598,960.

I'll even do the first part: P(0 spades) =
(39/52)*(38/51)*(37/50)*(36/49)*(35/48)

When rolling a die why is the probability of rolling a 2 or 3
Gelneren [198K]

Answer:

1/3

Step-by-step explanation:

If you're talking about a 6-sided die, then there are 6 sides. Rolling a 2 or a 3 would be a 2/6 chance. To simplify if from there, you can also say that there is a 1/3 chance.

irakobra [83]
Sin²t +cos²t =1

x=2+3 sin t
sin t=(x-2)/3

y=1-1/2cos t
y-1= - (cos t)/2
cos t =-(y-1)/(1/2)

(x-2)²/3² + (y-1)²/(1/2)² = 1
