Neuroplasticity is one of the characteristics of the nervous system that refers to the ability of the neurons of the brain to become reorganized throughout the course of one’s life. This characteristic is said to be more pronounced in a developing brain, meaning, this ability decreases as one ages.
When any particular part of the brain becomes damaged as a result of injury, neuroplasticity is initiated, another part of the brain that is different in function from the part that is damaged, becomes modified as it is transferred to the location of the damaged part. By so doing, the brain is able to recover from injury and perform all its various functions once again.
Neuroplasticity is most likely what played a predominant role in Lolita’s recovery from the head injury.
Yeasts will grow over a temperature range of 10°-37°C (50°-98.6°F), with an optimal temperature range of 30°-37°C (86°-98.6°F), depending on the type of species. There is little activity in the range of 0°-10°C. Above 37°C yeast cells become stressed and will not divide properly. Most yeast cells die above 50°C (122°F).
