1st: solve -6x - 2x
2: add -7x over to the other side. Which would turn -7x into a positive 7x.
3: Divide the number of your x to the other side.
EX: -4x - 2x+= 6- 4x

1) -6x= 6- 4x

2) -6x + 4x= 6

3) -2x = 6
                     -2/-2x = 6/ -2
Answer: x= -3

Square root of 75 plus square root of 3
olya-2409 [2.1K]
Answer:
6√3

Explanation:
Before we begin, remember the following:
\sqrt{a*b} = \sqrt{a}  *  \sqrt{b}
m \sqrt{a} + n \sqrt{a}  = (m+n) \sqrt{a}

Now, for the given:
75 can be written as 25*3
This means that:
\sqrt{75} = \sqrt{25*3}
Applying the above concept, we can find that:
\sqrt{75} = \sqrt{25*3} = \sqrt{25}  *  \sqrt{3}
Now, we know that:
√25 = 5 (we ignored the negative value)

This means that:
√75 = 5√3

Finally, we can compute the needed sum as follows:
√75 + √3 = 5√3 + √3 = 6√3

Hope this helps :)

You can work no more than 60 hours each week at your two jobs. Dog walking pays $7 per hour and your sales job at Computers &amp
DedPeter [7]

Answer:

No

Step-by-step explanation:

You cannot work negative 3 hours, it's impossible. One possible solution would be to work 50 hours a week at dog walking for 7 dollars an hour, and 10 hours a week at Computers & More, Inc. for 12 dollars a week. This would give you 350 dollars from dog walking, and 120 dollars from Computers & More, Inc. This would be a total of 470 dollars.

Which of the following expression represent the distance -2 and 1.5
Natasha_Volkova [10]

See the explanation!

<h2>Explanation:</h2>

As I understand the question, you need the distance between the numbers -2 and 1.5. In order to find this result, let's put these numbers in a number line as indicated below.

To find the distance, set a point on -2 and count how many units you can walk in order to get 1.5, so the result is 3.5 units. Also, this can be written as the following expression using absolute values:

\mid 1.5-(-2) \mid = \mid 1.5+2 \mid = 3.5
