The french and indian war impacted the british and their colonies because when the money ran out, they taxed the colonies and got funding for weapons and food for the soldiers. so, the colonies had been taxed thoughout the war. Now, after the war they needed to pay the soldiers, so they taxed the colonies and still were in major debt to a lot of places in which they had to repay the help the british got, And they continued to tax the poor colonists until they got really mad, eventually these taxes lead up to the Revolutionary war.

Why would states with smaller populations favor each state having one vote in Congress? What might be the position of states wit
Marina86 [1]

Answer:

Because it lets them have equal say with other states

Explanation:

States with smaller populations favor having a set number of representatives in Congress because it allows them to still have an influence on politics. If representation in a body of power depends on population size, then the states with a larger population will have more representatives, and therefore the interests of the larger states will be pushed more, while the smaller states' voices will be drowned out. Larger states would most likely prefer representation based on population because it gives them more say on politics and because it serves the interests of the majority of the overall population.
