The french and indian war impacted the british and their colonies because when the money ran out, they taxed the colonies and got funding for weapons and food for the soldiers. so, the colonies had been taxed thoughout the war. Now, after the war they needed to pay the soldiers, so they taxed the colonies and still were in major debt to a lot of places in which they had to repay the help the british got, And they continued to tax the poor colonists until they got really mad, eventually these taxes lead up to the Revolutionary war.
