Consecutive integers are numbers in a row on a number line (ie. 4,5,6 or 457,458,459 or 12341, 12342, 12343). They can also be negative as long as the problem doesn't specify if it's positive.
x= first integer x+1= second integer x+2= third integer x+3= fourth integer x+4= fifth integer
Add the five integers equal to 75.
x + (x+1) + (x+2) + (x+3) + (x+4)= 75 combine like terms
I am not going to give you the answer, but I am going to tell you how to do it. You first put 18 over 1, and multiply that by one half. (You multiply across.)
