Answer:

10 ft 3 in

Step-by-step explanation:

You have to add both Rob's and Mary's to get the answer

So the total length of the banner is 4ft 8 in + 5ft 7 in

if you convert them to inches

one feet is 12 inches

so

rob: 56in

mary: 67in

add them you get 123inches

12in is 1 feet

120in is 10 feet

and 3in is remainder

so the answer is 10ft and 3in

Jennifer chooses a playing card at random from a deck of 52 cards then she chooses another one.
iren [92.7K]
Since it has to do with probability I would say that the probability that she would pick a specific card would be 1:52 but for two would be 2:52 which would simplify to her chances being 1 out of 26 but I could be wrong.

We are given:Distance covered by the fastest man in 9 seconds = 100m

To Find: The distance covered in 1 min 2 seconds or 62 seconds

Finding the Speed of the man:

We know that:

speed = distance covered / time taken

Speed = 100 / 9          (we are given that he travels 100 m in 9 seconds)

Speed = 11.11 m/s

Distance travelled in 62 seconds:

We know that:

distance covered = speed * time

replacing the value of speed and time

Distance = 11.11 * 62

Distance = 688.82 m
