X-4=10;4x+1=57
First equation solve for x.
X-4=10
Add 4 both sides
X=10+4
X=14
Second equation substitute your x answer into second equation to make both sides equal.
4x+1=57
4(14)+1=57
56+1=57
57=57
The second one because the denominator is smaller meaning the second term is smaller and the first is bigger 2/3 > 2/4
63/170= 37%
You can divide 63/170 and you get 0.37 as decimal form but when trying to find the percent you always multiply by 100 to get a decimal to a percent and then u found your answer
