First you had to add by seven from both sides of equation form.

-7+\frac{f}{2}+7=-1+7

Then simplify by equation.

\frac{f}{2}=6

Next, you multiply by two from both sides of equation form.

\frac{2f}{2}=6*2

And finally, simplify by equation.

6*2=12

2*6=12

12/6=2

12/2=6

f=12

Final answer: \boxed{f=12}

Hope this helps!

And thank you for posting your question at here on brainly, and have a great day.

Write 33/36 in the simplest form
Sergeu [11.5K]
<span>This is a reduction to simplest form problem. You are given 33/36. All you need to do is to find a divisible number that can be divided to both the numerator and denominator, 33 and 36 respectively. It’s like finding the GCF or greatest common factor. The greatest common factor is the factor that divides both numbers. If you try to divide them by three, 33 divided by 3 gives 11 and 36 divided by 3 gives 12. The simplest form is 11/12. </span>

A candy store uses a 50% markup on cost. Find out the owners cost of a candy bar that sells for $1.50.
bulgar [2K]

Answer:

The owners' cost of the candy bar is $1

Step-by-step explanation:

Assume that the owners' cost of the candy bar is 100%

∵ The owners' cost of the candy bar is 100%

∵ The candy store uses a 50% markup on cost

∵ The selling cost = owners' cost + markup

∴ The selling cost = 100% + 50% = 150%

∵ The candy bar sells for $1.50

→ That means 1.50 is 150% of the owners' cost

∴ 1.50 = 150% × owners' cost

→ Change 150% to decimal by divide it by 100

∵ 150% = 150 ÷ 100 = 1.50

∴ 1.50 = 1.50 × owners' cost

→ Divide both sides by 1.50

∴ 1 = owners' cost

∴ The owners' costs = $1

∴ The owners' cost of the candy bar is $1
