Answer:

The cost of goods sold using the average-cost method is $1,818.76

Explanation:

The computation of the average cost per unit is shown below:

= (Beginning inventory units × price per unit + purchase inventory units ×  price per unit +  purchase inventory units ×  price per unit ) ÷ (Beginning inventory units + purchase inventory units + purchase inventory units)

= (70 units × $20 + 20 units × $20 + 20 units × $32) ÷ (70 units + 20 units + 20 units)

= ($1,400 + $400 + $640 units ) ÷ (110 units)

= ($2,440 units) ÷ (110 units)

= $22.18 per unit

Now the cost of goods sold equals to

=  (Beginning inventory units × average cost per unit + purchase inventory units ×  average cost  per unit - ending inventory units × average cost  per unit)

= 70 units ×  $22.18 per unit + 40 units × $22.18 per unit - 28 units × $22.18 per unit

= $1552.60 + $887.20 - $621.04

= $1,818.76

The purchase units = 20 units + 20 units = 40 units

Account Receivable            $6,000

Explanation:

Note is received against a payment of sale mad on credit. A new receivable will be built with the name of Note receivable, so this account will be debited.   To deduct the value from the account receivable we will credit the account receivable account due to its debit nature. Later on the interest will be accrued and added in this balance.

Whenever marginal cost is greater than average total cost, A. average total cost is rising. B. marginal cost is falling. C. aver
Damm [24]

Answer:

A. average total cost is rising.

Explanation:

Whenever marginal cost is more than average cost it means it costs more to produce a unit now compared to the average cost of the previous units. Lets assume that a company produces 3 units  of a good.

The first unit costs $1

The second unit costs $2

The third unit costs $3.

The average cost is (1+2+3)/3=2

Now if the marginal cost for producing a unit is more than the average cost for example if the marginal cost is 4, then this will mean that average total cost is rising. we can mathematically check this.

The first unit costs $1

The second unit costs $2

The third unit costs $3.

The fourth unit costs $4

Average cost= (1+2+3+4)/4=10/4=2.5

Here we see that the average cost increased from 2 to 2.5 because marginal cost was greater than average cost.

vazorg [7]

Management's plan for making money in a particular line of business and the revenue-cost-profit economics of the company's strategy is Strategic Management.

Strategic Management is the most widely recognized approach to spreading out goals, frameworks, and focuses to make an association or affiliation more serious. Consistently, the fundamental organization looks at effectively passing staff and resources on to achieve these targets.

In business, it is critical because it allows an association to look at districts for useful improvement. Generally speaking, they can understand either a consistent connection, which recognizes likely risks and opens entryways, or simply notice essential standards.

An association could choose to follow either a prescriptive or elucidating method for managing the executives. Under a prescriptive model, frameworks are delineated for development and execution. On the other hand, an elucidating model portrays how an association can cultivate these frameworks.
