1. You are designing a rectangular playground. On your scale drawing, the vertices of the rectangle are (6, 3), (6, 5), and (8,
Vinil7 [7]
The coordinates of the fourth vertex will be (8, 5). The coordinates (6, 3) and (6, 5) are on top of each other with (6, 5) being two units above (6, 3). The coordinate (8, 3) will be two units to the right of (6, 3). To make a rectangle, there are two pairs of the same length, therefore the fourth coordinate must be (8, 5).

LenKa [72]

Answer:

The number of students on this year = 11679

Step-by-step explanation:

Number of applicants last year = 11450

The growth on this year = 2 %

So the number of students in this year becomes =  11450 × \frac{102}{100}

Thus the number of students = 11679

These are the number of students present on this year.

➷  I believe saying the number out loud will help

'three hundred and forty nine'

The '4' represents 40

In place value, 40 would hold the 'tens' place

Thus, the place value is 'tens'

Please I want the area and perimeter of this shape!!<br> With steps and explanation please!!
worty [1.4K]

For perimeter you will add each side together so

8ft+22ft+12ft+16ft=58

So your perimeter is 58ft.

For area your going to divide the shape into 2 to get the area as this is an irregular shape, so

Base 1+base2x height / by 2

22+8 x4/2

30x4/2

120/2

60

If you’re wondering how I got 4 I subtracted 16 with 12 to know what the height was. Good luck!!
