Find the square root of the area and yiull get the answer

Since each one is a square, each side has to be the same length. I know that 12×12 is 144, so for the first square, each side is 12 inches. Then, use the formula to determine the perimeter. 4×12=48, so the first perimeter is 48 inches. For the second, I know that 9×9=81, so each side is 9. 4×9=36, so the perimeter is 36. For the last, each side is 18 inches. 4×18=72, so the perimeter is 72 inches.

Dilate the given points distance from the origin (x,y) (0.8x, 0.8y) . The point (-10,-20) becomes & point (15,25) become
dalvyx [7]

Answer: The point (-10,-20) becomes (-8,-16) & point (15,25) becomes (12,20).

Step-by-step explanation:

When a point (x,y) is dilated by a scale factor k from the origin, then the new points become

(kx,ky).

The given rule of dilation : (x,y) →(0.8x, 0.8y)

The first point is (-10,-20), so its image will be

(-10,-20)\to (0.8\times-10,0.8\times-20)=(-8,-16)

So, the point (-10,-20) becomes (-8,-16).

The second point is (15,25), so its image will be

(15,25)\to (0.8\times15,0.8\times25)=(12,20)

So, the point (15,25) becomes (12,20).

Hence, the point (-10,-20) becomes (-8,-16) & point (15,25) becomes (12,20).

Consider the volume of the region shown below, which shows a right circular cone with top radius 3 cm and height 10 cm. We have
koban [17]
I have the same problem here with a slight change in the given values:

radius is 2 & height of 6 indicates the bounding line is y = 3 x---> x = y / 3....

thus the [ π radius ² thickness ] yields π (y² / 9 ) dy , y in [ 0 , 6 ] for the volume...

a Riemann sum is then : y_i = 0 + i [ 6 / n ] = 6 i / n , i = 1,2,3...n and do a right side sum

π Σ { i = 1,2,3..n } [ 36 i² / 9 n² ] [ 6 / n ]

I hope my guide has come to your help. God bless and have a nice day ahead!
