A rational number can be written as a fraction so 9.6 is rational

An irrational number cannot be written as a fraction so the decimal is non-repeating and doesn't end. (example: pi π = 3.14159265358.... ) Easiest way to write/express an irrational number is by root.

9.5 < x < 9.7
(9.5)² < x² < (9.7)²
90.2 < x² < 94.09

Find a number inbetween 90.2 and 94.09 and square root it for a non repeating decimal.
Irrational:
x = √(92.17)

Dafna11 [192]

Answer:

Here, F = 2.911

F > 2.739502 , so reject null hypothesis ( H0)

There is ample evidence to indicate a disparity in the means for the different forms of mails.

Step-by-step explanation:

Null hypothesis -  H₀: μ₁ = μ₂ = μ₃ = μ₄

Alternative hypothesis - H₁: At least one mean is different.

df1 is factor degree of freedom and df2 is error degree of freedom.

Decision rule -  Reject H₀ if F > F₀.₀₅, (df1, df2)

F0.05, df1,df2   is f critical value at \alpha = 0.05

Here df1 = 3 , and df2 = 68

Using Excel,

F₀.₀₅, ₃, ₆₈ = FINV( 0.05, 3 , 68 ) = 2.739502302

So reject H0 if F > 2.739502

Here, F = 2.911

F > 2.739502 , so reject null hypothesis ( H0)

There is ample evidence to indicate a disparity in the means for the different forms of mails.

What is the equation of a circle with its center at (0,-2) and passing through the point (3,-5)
Ksivusya [100]
Circle's Standard Form Equation:
r^{2} = (x - xo)^{2} + (y - yo)^{2}

First you need to substitute the C (0,-2) in the equation, where: Xo = 0 and Yo = -2;

r^{2} = (x - 0)^{2} + (y - ( -2))^{2} \\ r^{2} = x^{2} + (y + 2)^{2}

Now you substitute the Point (3,-5) values in the last expression, where: X = 3 and Y = -5;

r^{2} = 3^{2} + (( - 5) + 2)^{2} \\ r ^{2} = 9 + ( - 3)^{2} \\ r^{2} = 9 + 9 \\ {r}^{2} = 18

Now you get the R^2 value and substitute in the equation that you found putting the C values on it:

r^{2} = x^{2} + (y + 2)^{2} \\ x^{2} + (y + 2)^{2} = 18

Here is your standard form equation of the circle.
