Answer:

If you ever heard of KCF= Keep Change Flip, you will know what to do. So what you do is keep the first fraction how it is which is keep. What you need to change is your sign from dividing to multiplication which is change and then you flip your other fraction to the right so flip the number around, here is an example.

5/5 /  3/2=?

5/5 x 2/3.

We kept the first fraction the same, we changed our sign and flipped our fractions. By the way there is no division sign on computer but this / which means dividing.

Hope this helped!

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

In dividing two fractions, fraction 1 and fraction 2

Retain the fraction 1 as it was

Next, we change the division sign into a multiplication sign, once this is done, we find the reciprocal of fraction 2 by turning it upside down. This is when the numerator changes to denominator and vice versa while fraction 1 does not change.

After that is done , we then multiply the two numerators of both fractions, then we multiply the denominators of both fractions.

Next, we put the value of the numerators over the value of the multipled denominators.

For example:

To divide 3/8 ÷ 2/3

We change the ÷ sign to x sign, and immediately put the reciprocal of fraction 2: 3/8 × 3/2

Then we multiply the numerators: 3 x 3 = 9

Then the denominators: 8 x 2 = 16

The answer will be 9/16.
