A. There are 6 different ways to place an order:-

All tricycles . There were 5*33 = 15 wheels.

All wagons. 5 * 4 = 20 wheels

2 Tricycles, 3 wagons. 18 wheels (2*3 + 3 *4 = 18)

3 Tricycles, 2 wagons. 17 wheels ( 3*3 + 2*4 = 17)

1 tricycles, 4 wagons. 19 wheels

4 tricycles, 1 wagon 16 wheels.

B.

2 wagons were ordered if there ere 17 wheels ( see Part A).

165 is what percent of 375
Gnesinka [82]

44%

1. We assume, that the number 375 is 100% - because it's the output value of the task.

2. We assume, that x is the value we are looking for.

3. If 100% equals 375, so we can write it down as 100%=375.

4. We know, that x% equals 165 of the output value, so we can write it down as x%=165.

5. Now we have two simple equations:

1) 100%=375

2) x%=165

where left sides of both of them have the same units, and both right sides have the same units, so we can do something like that:

100%/x%=375/165

6. Now we just have to solve the simple equation, and we will get the solution we are looking for.

7. Solution for 165 is what percent of 375

100%/x%=375/165

(100/x)*x=(375/165)*x - we multiply both sides of the equation by x

100=2.27272727273*x - we divide both sides of the equation by (2.27272727273) to get x

100/2.27272727273=x

44=x

x=44

35.000cm=.................m
kari74 [83]
First, always keep in mind that 100cm = 1m.

Using this information, we can convert 35.000cm to m:

    100cm    =   1m
     35cm         x m

x m = 1m x 35 cm ÷ 100cm
x m = 0.35

Therefore, 35 cm = 0.35 m

Hope this helps!
