There has been two eons in the Earth's geologic history so far, the Precambrian eon, and the Phanerozoic eon. The eons are the basic and by far longest units on the geological time scale, spreading over hundreds of millions of years.

The Precambrian eon is the eon that starts with the formation of the Earth, up until the development of multi-cellular organisms. A very important event in this eon can be considered the formation of the Earth's oceans, which later enabled the conditions for the development of life. The organisms that dominated this eon are the one cellular organisms.

The Phanerozoic is the eon in which the multi-cellular organisms started to develop and evolve. This eon started with the end of the Precambrian eon, 543 million years ago up until the present. A very important event in this eon is the change of the composition of the atmosphere, which enabled the terrestrial life, as well as the better living conditions for the marine life. It is very hard to choose a dominant form of life in this eon, but worthy of mentioning are the plants, the sinapsids, dinosaurs, mammals, fish.

3. A trait must directly affect metabolism.

4. A trait must increase survival.

5. A trait must be able to be passed on to future generations.

Answer:

The correct answer is : option 3. A trait must directly affect metabolism.

Explanation:

The process that leads to change or adaption in the species or a population of the organism known as natural selection. In this process population exhibits the variation in the population due to the change or adaption.

This variation refers to the better traits and increased reproductive ability, suited to the environment than others which is also known as survival of the fittest as they increase their survival in comparison to the other population or species. Natural selection carries traits that are passed on to one generation to another.

Thus, the correct answer is option Is : 3. A trait must directly affect metabolism.

Bile

Based on the above symptoms, it can be inferred that Gloria lacks bile. Pain in the upper right portion of the abdomen usually corresponds to problems with the liver. The liver produces bile (also known as gall), which is a dark green to yellowish brown fluid that helps most vertebrates with digestion. It increases the absorption of fats and fat-soluble substances such as vitamins A,D,E, and K. It is also necessary for the excretion of bilirubin, which is a byproduct when red blood cells are recycled by the liver.

Bile deficiency can cause the fats in the food to be undigested and these fats end up excreted as part of feces. It can also lead to vitamin deficiency and a gradual build-up of toxins in the liver.
