Well because it is a fraction you would have to round up and that would give you just 6 because 9 changes 2 to 3 but 3 is not big enough to change 6 to 7.. hah sorry I'm not very well at explaining! good luck, have a good day!

That is fractional, it can not be represented as a whole number, though it can be represented as an improper or mixed fraction because it is a rational number.

629/100 or 6+29/100

The bailey family started a trip with a tank of 7/8 full of gas.The family finished the trip with a tank 1/4 full of gas.If no g
aleksklad [387]
The answer is A.5/8.

Why?

Multiply 1/4 with 2/2 to get the same denominator as 7/8, 8. That will yield 2/8.Then, simply subtract 2/8 from 7/8 (7/8 - 2/8), and that equals 5/8.

Hope this helps!

M is directly proportional to r2
When r=2, m=14
Work out the value of m when r=12
Genrish500 [490]

we have M is durectly porpotional to r^2

so M=(k)r^2

and when r=2, m=14

so 14=(k)(2)^2

k=14/4 =7/2

so when r=12

m= (7/2)(12)^2 =(7/2)(144) = 504
