Tobacco is a plant which contains nicotine, a chemical that may lead to addiction. The plant part that is used for making cigarettes is the leaves of plant. The burning of tobacco releases the harmful chemicals. Tobacco can be smoked, chewed or can be sniffed.

When the person uses tobacco, the nicotine present in it gets absorbed into the blood. When it enters into the blood, it immediately stimulates the adrenal glands so as to release the epinephrine hormone.

<u>Day one</u> which is a magazine show had shown that how the tobacco industry manipulates the quantity nicotine in their products. Their information provided a kind of hook for the FDA to take action against tobacco products. The products are harmful for the public so there selling should be restricted.
