You might be talking about Franklin D. Roosevelt’s Infamy speech, given just after the pre-emptive attack on Pearl Harbor and the Philippines by the Empire of Japan. The short speech emphasizes on how Japan attacked the United States without first declaring war, and then declaring that the United States is ready to act and do measures for defense.

A. The author is very effective, because he explains the events that led up to pearl harbor and examines how the event affected world politics.

Answer:

Community college is 2 years long, therefore it is cheaper than university. Though university graduates can get up to $60,000 dollars in their first year of work, the real question is, would you rather be rich or get your dream job? while being rich sounds nice, would you really be happy? wuldn't you rather be happy at your dream job, besides, what if you got richer doing your dream job than doing some job you may or may not like after 4 long years of university. Comunity college gives you more time afterwards to do what you want, is cheaper, and you're more likely to get your dream job. Doesn't that sound like a dream?

How are the sentence patterns for asking questions different from the sentence patterns for making statements?
Sindrei [870]
The answer is B. This includes helping verbs or modals like have, could would and adverbs like who, what, where, when, why and how.
A is not the answer, I like cake vs. What is your name? both are short and statements like this are common.
C is not the answer because we often use pronouns in questions and adjectives are used as descriptions regardless of statement or question. Where is she? What is it? Disprove the pronoun aspect. Is it a blue color? Disproves the adjective aspect.
D is not the answer because of questions of fact like, what time is it? There is no direct or indirect object because the verb is a linking verb, used for a statement, connecting or linking the subject to the fact, without an object.
