Eating disorder is referred to as a psychological conditions which are marked through one's obsession with food or body shape. Such obsessions, can be as result of certain personality traits in such individuals, cultural preferences to be thin, media promoting sure ideals and even genetics.

Individual diagnosed with eating disorders do not easily conform to eating plans and schedules. They eat haphazardly and some times uncontrollably. Also, they end up having "black and white" style of thinking (dichotomous thinking style). They think to the extreme bad and extreme good.
