I'm pretty sure this is the answer but I'm not exactly sure....

To write an equation of a line, use the formula:

y=mx+b

M stands for the slope
B stands for y-intercept

Plug in -1 for the slope and 6 for the y-intercept.

y=-1x+6

To simplify it, you can just say -x instead of -1x

y=-x+6
