The physicians don't use the Electronic Health Record (EHR) for the following reasons:
1. They believe that using the EHR will take up the time they have to spend talking directly with the patient. 2. The smaller practices do not receive adequate support from the manufacturers of the EHR system. This makes the use of the system difficult and a waste of time3. Doctors believe that the subsidies granted by the government to use the EHR are worth less than the time it it takes away from treating patients manually
