Most likely A because immigrants had the advantage of Settlement Houses. Settlement Houses were places of not necessarily refuge, but of shelter and protection where they were taught by Americans themselves about the culture and ways of the U.S. I'm sure they learned things from other immigrants here and there, too, but culture classes were what they write about in textbooks.

How can a state’s gerrymandering impact government at the national level
RideAnS [48]

Answer:

Gerrymandering is the act of altering geographical districts with respect to electoral constituencies in order to favour one's political ambition or intentions.

At the National level, it can protect those in power and diminish the ability of the opposition party to challenge their actions.

It suppresses minority groups. This always backfires in the long run.

This practice was ruled in the Pennsylvania Supreme court as unconstitutional. The case in question is League of Women Voters v. The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Cheers!
